The first advice that I would give to a person with thyroid issues is to find a local Chiropractor and get a side x-ray to have them look at the curvature of your neck. Nerves in the neck area can play a major role in thyroid issues if they are pinched due to your neck being out of alignment. If this is not found to be the cause, the next route would be to treat I from a wholistic nutritional perspective. Iodine, Selenium and copper play major roles in regulating thyroid hormones, due to the depletion of the world's soils from industrial farming practices and lack of replenishment of the soil. It is advisable to supplement these three elements. I recommend watching my video, Foods That Harm. More specifically, If you have an overactive thyroid, I would eat Broccoli, Cauliflower, Eggplant, Brussel's Sprouts, and Cabbage on a regular basis. These food help slow throid function. If you have decreased throid function, I would suggest avoiding Broccoli, Cauliflower, Eggplant, Brussel's Sprouts, and Cabbage. Finally, I recommend getting some Myrrh oil and rubbing some on the throat/thyroid area before bed. Myrrh has a wonderful history of regulating thyroid hormones as it soaks in while you sleep at night.
