Chronic Kidney Disease

In most cases of Chronic Kidney Disease, there is physically nothing wrong with the actual kidney itself. The problem lies in microscopic arteries that carry dirty blood to the glomerulus for filtering called, Afferent Arterioles. Atherosclerosis and inflammation in these Arterioles causes a jam up of unfiltered blood and creatinine accumulates in the blood. The kidneys realize that filtration is not taking place and excretes the hormone Renin, which causes the blood pressure to go up to bring in more blood to be filtered. It is very important to change the way you approach food. Fried food should be eliminated first and foremost. You must also avoid wheat gluten, certain oils, carbonated beverages, blackened meats and meats with nitrates and nitrites. See my video, Foods that Harm. Supplementing should consist of high anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory.  I also recommend a good clean calcium supplement with magnesium to regulate blood pressure and a trace mineral supplement. Renal function can be restored in a few months, even from end stage if the person is committed to changing their lifestyle and stays committed.
